Who We Are
Furnace Creek Baptist Church has been part of the Scuffling Hill community since 1953. We are God-centered, Gospel-focused, and Christ-exalting in our teaching. It is our desire to continue to reach our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to glorify God by telling and living the Gospel in our neighborhood. If you are a follower of Christ but you don't know how to tell the Gospel to others, join our church and we will teach you. If you're not sure what it means to "live" the Gospel, join us and grow in your understanding and practice. As the church of Jesus, what we have to offer is not entertainment or a social club. If you're looking for that, go to a concert or join a club. What we have to offer is a process of discipleship that will help you to grow as a follower of Jesus. Our process is simple: we worship together weekly; we journey together in personal relationships; we serve each other and our community together. Worship together; Journey together; Serve together. That's what we do and who we are.
